The wild, rugged Sonoma Coast is the star here, and Schug Winery is its director. The winery is known for its shining commitment to Burgundy varieties (with some Bordeaux thrown in) and tremendous quality across its portfolio. This 94 POINT wonder of a small production Sonoma Coast pinot noir simply can’t be beat – especially at our awesome price of over 50% OFF!

This pinot noir is from Schug’s Heritage Club – the winery’s wine club selection – SUPER exclusive and available only to members…usually. These wines are VERY limited, cool one-offs that only a select few people can access. Today, you’re one of those select few people because we struck a MAJOR deal and we’re PUMPED to let you all taste these wines.

This pinot ROCKS! The wine is BURSTING with fresh raspberry and cherry fruits, with rose petals, violets, and peonies. And, for the icing on the cake, a balsamic note that gives this a PUNCH that mama said will KNOCK YOU OUT!  Pepper, anise, and chocolate keep this rolling, ending at last with a Burgundian mushroom note that just destroys you (in a good way) when you drink it. In a sea of quality Sonoma Coast pinots from the heralded 2019 vintage, this is the real deal, kids. You’re gonna want some of this.

Walter Schug grew up roaming legendary German vineyards, all the way back to Germany where his father made German pinot noir (spätburgunder, yeah baby!). This early interaction influenced the trajectory of Walter’s life, as he went on to earn a viticulture and enology degree from the world-famous Geisenheim University. He was one of the OGs to set up shop in Sonoma’s Carneros region back in the early 1980s, and the winery has consistently over-delivered ever since.
