A juicy gem of a wine available to you at over 50% off! AND with 92pts from Wine Enthusiast to boot. Here we go!
Now, the Santa Cruz Mountains, located about 70ish miles southwest the way the crow flies from good ‘ol Napa, is probably most well known for Ridge’s esteemed Monte Bello Bordeaux blend (and rightly so!), but when you pop on over to the western side of the AVA facing the Pacific Ocean, you find a host of vineyards growing some spectacular Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. And, drum roll please, this brings us to today’s Integrato Pinot Noir from Sante Arcangeli. Wine Advocate has praised proprietor and winemaker, John Benedetti, with producing "noteworthy wines for his Sante Arcangeli that seem to get better each year. The style is quite giving and gourmand...Serious and meticulous, Benedetti is establishing himself as one of the rising stars of the Santa Cruz Mountains.”
A blend of seven meticulously managed vineyards, this is a Pinot jam-packed with vibrant fruit and killer acidity. The best of both worlds! Rich with notes of sweet red and black cherries and Santa Rosa plums with undertones of candied orange peel, lavender, rose petals, clove and cinnamon with that rearing acidity at the back palate to remind you this is proper Pinot after all!
So good. Pinot lovers, heck just wine lovers, get some for your stash immediately! Not a lot to go around. $22! Shipping included on orders of 4 or more (that’s $88 a 4-pack, WHAT?!). Get it while it lasts!
