"Another terrific wine from this estate, the 2015 Minervois Roc du Pière comes from the rockiest part of the estate, located outside the village of Cesseras, in the lieu-dit of Fauzan. It’s a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre brought up in foudre and two 600-liter French oak demi-muids. Blackberries, pepper, hints of herbs and some minerality as well as a pretty floral lift, all emerge from this medium-bodied, Minervois. Seamless and impeccably balanced, with silky tannins, this beautiful, elegant red will keep for at least 5-6 years."
